our 3rd fave hang-out:
cypress mountain!!!
ben and i went there for snowww-boarding again. damn but this sport can be fucking addictive. falling aside of course. all my orh ches still haven't healed yet. ow.
anyway despite some cock-ups in the morning (i.e. i overslept; while ben who didn't sleep the night before, caught *a lot* of sleep everywhere else), today cypress was exceptionally pretty.

anyway today was GREAT!!! haha.
well... the initial part was extremely tiring for me, because i continued my tradition of falling in every possible way. ended up very winded.

me slumped in the snow after my run. wahaha. ok lah. considering how many unglam photos i took of ben in mexico, we better even the score.

first thought tt i bet has come into your minds: "wah lau. come mountain ALSO can smoke!" wahaha.
ok lah. but ben damn good boarder. 2nd time can already do s-turns and board down the runs smoothly. me? i can only do s-turns sporadically.

but tt said, snowboarding was VERY VERY fun.
love it. falling aside (although i'm getting used to it, even the really xiong physics-defying falls, like the last one tt ben witnessed tt had me falling backwards in the snow with a really loud ungraceful 'thud' and my beanie and goggles flying clear off my face [hey. at least *i* didn't fly along with them]) , snowboarding is DAMN FUN. when you get the hang of the turns, when you can control your speed and your direction, when you can just *ride*... whoopie!!!
me is a very very happy girl.
we *are* coming back to cypress again and again and again. i *will* be a boarder before the season ends. :)
anyway we were @ cypress from 11.30am to around 6.15pm. good amount of time. made it back downtown for a not bad dinner @ this chinese restaurant called shanghai chinese bistro on alberni st. had an early night too, coz ben was once again, falling asleep on the bus. wah lau. he is damn hard to wake up can?
P.S. time is running out... less than 2 months left for me here. :( hmm. when is salsa??? wahaha.
