last night in chicago

i'm leaving for vancity tomorrow.

can't believe how fast time seems to have passed. seems just like yesterday tt i handed in tt dreaded international law paper and packed my bags for the big apple. now, in 8 hours i will be waking up at 6 am to catch my flight back to vancouver, via a connecting flight from toronto.

if all goes well, i'll be airbourne for at least 8 hours - 3 to toronto and 5 from there to vancouver. if all does not go well and there are delays again - which i expect - i shall be intimately familiarised with the aeroplane cabin for maybe as much as up to 15 hours. i'm crossing my fingers tt it won't go beyond 10 though.

but the past 2 days here have been great. today i visited the shedd aquarium and saw all sorts of interesting fishes from EVERYWHERE in the world; from asian rivers to the nile to african rivers to the great lakes to parts of the ocean, and not just fish but frogs, turtles, beluga whales, sea otters and pacific white-sided dolphins. it cost a steep entrance fee of $23, but tt was worth it for everything tt i saw.

after tt it was on to navy pier to get a good look at the lake michigan, which is so huge it looks more like the sea itself. it was gorgeous. then to the john hancock observatory and to belmont, where i did EVEN MORE shopping. ARGH. but i got a $98 pair of ecko red track pants for $19.99 and an $59 adidas track jacket for $24.99.

dinner was a bacon cheeseburger at clarke's diner. for $6.99, it was huge and fucking good. this over mac's ANYTIME. :)

oops jason is back. me gotta go. next post will be from vancouver. i love the web. you can post entries from ANYWHERE in the world. ;)
