"you do appreciate the pictures are probably false? i doubt the police would let themselves be caught in the act like that."
let's take this comment and put it into perspective.
*maybe* the pictures are probably false. yes, i can understand how some people might want to give the force a bad name by getting a bunch of guys to don the uniform, get the prison vehicle, and get some supposedly australian peta wannabe supporter to dress as a giant bear just to prove a point. i mean, there is no denying the possibility of tt... who might the photographer be? maybe i just have too little faith in my future.
and besides, you're right... i guess the police wouldn't be so stupid as to let themselves be caught in the act like tt.
except tt this incident was reported in the australian newspaper the AGE.
and besides... i mean, what other stupid things have you ever seen them do?
like, i don't know... maybe turn up in full force and full riot gear just to arrest 4 unarmed peacefully demonstrating people outside the cpf building?
or launch a full-out investigation into the source of a couple of white elephant cardboard cut outs at buangkok mrt, and later warn 4 jc kids tt to have people wear t-shirts with those elephants on them will be subversive and against the concept of national order and security?
or how about starting a policy sending letters to the parents to teenagers to inform them where their kids are going after 11pm?
oh no. nope. don't think they'd ever let themselves be caught in the act like tt.
