Happy Days.
On Thursday we went to the Night Safari. This was my first time there, and his third. But of course we still have to take the requisite "We were here!" shots to compliment our visit, of course.

This is when we were queueing at the entrance.

And this is us on the tram - the first thing we did after beating the queue (which was fucking long coz Night Safari was chock-full of Indian, Hongkong and Japanese tourists) was to go for the tram ride.
The wait was really long and I was yawning quite a fair bit, so I decided to take a mid-yawn photo.

And I think I have a very big mouth. Ben tried to look retarded too, but I won him hands down on this.
We saw a lot of animals, but unfortunately my camera was not able to capture anything coz it was waaay too dark by then, and we can't use flash. I mean, this is like, the best shot I could get. Like, wtf.

So anyway after the tram ride, we went to see the Creatures of the Night show, with the appearance of our fave raccoons as well as the cute otters and the furry binturang, and then we took the walking trail all throughout the Night Safari to get closer looks of the animals.
And though it was dark and we might not have been able to see as well or take as good photos, the animals were mainly alive and awake, which made it more fun. The otters tt we saw on the Fishing Cat Trail were oh-so-cute as they gravitated towards human company as a group and excitedly jumped up and down in the water making these adorable mewling sounds. Amazing.
Of course, what visit is complete without the requisite "signage" photo?

Today, we needed to run a couple of errands, such as get my laptop repaired. But due to strange opening times, we had time to go over to the Starbucks @ Holland V to chill for a bit. And since we have both been called demons of late, we figured we would try to look the part, horns and all.

Him.

Me.
Not... very... successful, I would say.
Anyway once again, the stupid frequent relocation of the Notebook Centre resulted in both of us traversing through NUS on this hot and incredibly humid day, which was incredibly unkind to my nose.
But tt being done, we could head back down to City Hall for more decadence - chocolate fondue @ Max Brenner's.

This is Max Brenner's - the chocolate shelf.

And this is our chocolate fondue. 3 types of chocolate - dark, milk and white; along with sliced strawberries, bananas, marshmellows and raisin bread squares.
Seeing tt they gave us miniature pitchfork-like instruments to dip our food in the chocolate with, we wondered if this would further the whole demon perception.

Muahahahaha.

The evil eye...

And the famished eagerly attacking the food.

Me, looking pretty - or trying to at least. Heehee.

And acting coy, even after devouring quite a fair amount of chocolate and yummy bits of food.
After Max Brenner's, we went out to relax by the Esplanade Bay.

Where Ben promptly fell asleep in my lap. Fortunately I had a book to read (coz I couldn't get up at all).
Sam and Wanyi came to join me for dinner, while he went off to meet another friend for dinner.
So Sam, Wanyi and I had dinner @ the Thai Express at the Esplanade.
First photo Wanyi has me take:

...Is of her acting sweet. Aiyoh.

Then this is Sam and I.
Of course, we photowhore around quite a bit more while waiting for our food (we had 3 cameras to photowhore with, after all), but the other photos will probably come when Sam and Wanyi send me their photos (so you will have to wait a fair while. Hee hee).
But there's still...

Me and Wanyi...

Me trying to look pensive (I look fierce)...

Sam scrunching up her face (so cute! Hee hee)...

And Wanyi... erm... being herself.

And of course... All 3 of us. Thanks Sam! Very steady hands! Hee hee.
After dinner, we popped over to the outdoor performance area to listen to the musicians play, but while they were really good I couldn't stop falling asleep.
So we left around 10 pm and Ben came back over to send me home.
*muakz* You make me feel safe, warm and protected, when I am cold with fear or apprehension or sorrow.
