of parties and paintball

what i did on friday:

2 events of consequence.

1) my psychology mid-term. which i fucked up. 3 chapters; i finished 1 one thurs, finished 1 on fri morning, and rushed the last one - which is the biggest chapter and the hardest to memorize, on the brain, the central and peripheral nervous sysyems and the effect of drugs on both. fuck lah.

but anyway my second event was a lot more interesting:

my first ever frat party.

went as an angel, complete with boots, white dress and wings.

only 1 picture, unfortunately.

me with fraser and adrian. fraser's the ang moh one. adrian's the chinese one. :)

tt's where i got so drunk. coz all the booze was on the house.

oh and frat parties live up to their reputations, just so you know.

so with 4 hours of sleep under my belt since...

what i did on sat:

PAINTBALL!!!

17 of us singaporeans. we travelled up to north vancouver in the cold, wind and rain, pulled on huge jumpsuits, loaded our guns, and played 3 rounds of CS. only tt we are the ones moving from tree to tree, bunker to bunker, in the terrain. cheong sua-ing, crouching and moving, rolling in the mud (literally), aiming and shooting at the opponents. i guess the guys were a little more adept coz they went through all this battlefield training in ns, but i have to admit, even though i got hit with paint pellets in the chest and shot at numerous times, it was one hell of a lot of fun. especially when you shoot at your targets and you 'kill' them. talk about satisfaction.

after playing paintball, you don't want to play CS anymore. hahaha. why control the player when you can BE the player?

so yeah, tt pretty much took up almost all of saturday, game rounds, waiting, travelling and other miscellanous things thrown in. even though today was 8 degrees fucking cold, wet and rainy the entire time we were playing, such tt we were splashing about in mud on our outdoor terrain. my sports shoes are currently drying outside my door. i ruined them once i had to splash through this stream full of water, and tt excludes all the mud we stomped and slid through.

i wonder if they have army boots in size 6. i want a pair of army boots with gore-tex lining. i think it will be damn cool.

if i had known about the free gore-tex boots, i might have signed on with army instead of police. at least the uniform is nicer. wahaha.
